I normally walk the landscape without my camera to see if a photograph comes to mind and this lovely wooden marsh pathway was only five minutes from my truck. I immediately knew the image I wanted; I returned to my truck, packed a couple of wide angle lenses, grabbed my large tripod and walked back. I then set up my tripod and reached for my camera only to realize I forgot it! I laughed and then wondered if someone would steal my gear if I left it in the bushes and ran back to get my camera--there was no one around. Still laughing, I took my chances, hid my gear, walked again to and from my truck. I made this photograph once I had my camera, however, it had already been created in my mind long before.
