ABOUT ME

I am a perfectionist and extremely driven. My pursuit of photography began at an early age and then blasted off in the mid-1990s. I snapped photo after photo of anything in front of me and did not stop until I realized that a photograph begins within me. From then onward I became an artist.

I was born and raised in New York City; I have traveled extensively throughout both the United States and Canada. In stark contrast to the crowded metropolis of my birth, my photographs reveal the path less traveled, the quiet, intimate and forsaken landscape that exists without witness.

My photographic artwork has been purchased and installed in thousands of offices, institutions and homes across the United States, Canada and Europe. My work consistently sells time and again and can subtly complement any décor or stand on its own as a focal point. I offer both traditional and contemporary photographs that appeal to a broad spectrum of clientele. Many designers and distributors include my artwork in their portfolio of offerings to attract a wide range of buyers.

As a fine art photographer, my work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums and has received many awards. If you would like to enhance your portfolio with my photographs or wish to order prints for an installation or project, please contact me.

EXPERIENCE

For over 20 years I studied under the clouds, the stars, the birds and the rain. My style comes from real world experience and learning from my mistakes. While making photographs I immerse myself in the creative process; I imagine the effects of time and movement, the perspective of wind, trees, animals or rocks; I believe good photographs are made, not taken.
