I never shy away from exploring my creativity. My experience over the years has come from pushing myself to make new and unique photographs. Creativity can take many forms, however, effort is one of the essential ingredients. I learn every time I try something new and what I do today may lead to a great idea tomorrow. With photography as a form of art, there are preconceived notions such as focus, clarity, megapixels, camera brand and so on. These expectations can stymie expression or creativity; throw them out! Whenever they enter my mind I go in the opposite direction.
I am often fascinated by trees in the landscape and for this photograph I panned my camera vertically for roughly half a second while the shutter was open.
I made this photograph using my digital Hasselblad camera.
