Some photographs are made within a few seconds. I set up my Hasselblad camera with different profiles based on how I work, each is specific for a particular type of situation, and I have a profile for fast action scenarios or when I need to work quickly with a moving subject.
I noticed this fox while working at the beach in New Jersey; I rapidly grabbed my 300mm Hasselblad lens plus the 1.7x extender (effectively 500mm - and manual focus), switch to the right profile, got closer and quickly made a series of photographs at f8. The affair was over within a few minutes.
I made this photograph using my digital Hasselblad camera.
